Immerse yourself in the nature experience that is Mabalingwe Nature Reserve; a full 9 500 hectares of nature, family and fun. Mabalingwe will leave you with precious memories imprinted in your heart, and leave you eager for a return visit.

Mabalingwe Nature Reserve is all about getting back to nature. A spectacular landscape allows you to lose yourself in a true South African Bushveld environment with abundant birdlife, a variety of beautiful and interesting plant life, and wildlife such as hippopotami, rhinoceros and sable antelope.

During the school holidays, be sure to check out the Ecotainment Programme, a firm favourite amongst guests. Other activities include game drives, horseback game viewing, 4X4 trails, bird watching and an outdoor Spa. Or, simply soak up the views and the natural beauty from the peace of your comfortable chalet or go for a swim at the heated or cold water pools.

Mabalingwe Nature Reserve placed fifth in the Top Large Gold Crown Resort category at the 2019 RCI OSCAS Award Ceremony. This great achievement represents the hard work and dedication of both our on-site and off-site management and teams.
