KAGGA KAMMA NATURE RESERVE

“At this lovely resort, I could not speak throughout the first day due to the absolute beauty and silent space surrounding you. I just sat for hours and hours enjoying the views, the calm, the silence, the beauty and the small animals coming past the chalet. Each chalet has an indoor fireplace and an outdoor braai area. Kagga Kamma has magnificent and unusual rock formations that change as the day changes. The stars and view of the milky way is something I will always cherish. They have a star watching experience with a telescope and nature drives. With solar-powered chalets, no cell reception, NO light and noise pollution this is the place to rejuvenate, restore and reset after a difficult year. The drive to Kagga Kamma is an adventure on its own with lovely views, viewpoints and scenery. I will return any time and intend to spend some time there again.”

UVONGO RIVER RESORT

“We were not expecting too much but were pleasantly surprised by the quaint little setup and creative design of the layout at the resort. Situated very near the shopping complexes it was still exclusive enough not to be disturbed by the business noise. Added to this the balcony cum braai area looked out over an adjoining nature spot where we saw little deer and rock rabbits (dassies). A short walk to the beach and safe to take lovely evening walks.”

“We selected Crystal Springs for a mid-week break after a week end in the Kruger Park to experience the totally different aspects of each venue. We were not disappointed as the accommodation and facilities exceeded our expectations. The peace and calming effect of the mountain retreat was just what was needed. “Where do I begin? The pleasant memories you have helped me create; I will cherish and take them with me to the grave. Every day was full of surprises but my birthday was the pinnacle. My wish was to see the Maasai tribe, how do I thank you that you have arranged such a big party for me and brought the entire tribe. I will be forever be grateful. I took Swahili lessons everyday so I could interact with people. This is good idea, you should continue to do this. The swimming pool: it was beautiful and always clean. I totally enjoyed the massage by Edwina! To the Mnarani staff, thank you for such lovely time. I have found my home away from the hectic concrete life.”

African Blessings is a Non Profit Company as well as a Public Benefit Organisation based at Rustfontein Farm, near Bronkhorstspruit. Their primary goal is the establishment of Jochebed Children's Village, a home for orphaned or abandoned children. The African Blessings Team are always looking for ways to improve: the quality of life on the Farm, the safe environment they provide, and the projects they implement to better everyone’s lives in the community. It is for these reasons that they are in need of a new agricultural-use tractor and slasher.
